a lot of liberal philosophy is based on the golden rule

as you try and continue this policy of equal treatment, it turns out into leftism

expression is an artistic thing, usually associated with liberals

not the same with science, but they like to use science to push their means (creating surgeries etc

in combination these create a liberal environment for the teachers, which forms up universities being more liberal

due to the teachers being liberal in different fields, when they speak together they spread their liberal ideology

this eventually reaches the students, creating a liberal culture around the university

also, liberalism is usually associated with libertarianism, when people become more free after high school they become more free sexually aswell, republicans disapprove of sexuality, so they feel accepted by liberalism
