I was just watching Apolcalypto, and I noticed all the Mayans have classical mouthbreathing features. Is this genetic or developmental?

Because the movie is trying to make all the characters look primitive as fuck so they chose a cast with people that had hooked noses and shit. I’m sure every race around the world has had their own gigachads in each time period, many died without any modern record of them for us to ever have known they existed. Some of the biggest moggers probably died long ago.

Alot of ancient Mayan art/sculptures also depict sub-humans with hooked noses. I think it's just genetic and shows the subhumanity of non-whites
