this all stems from boomer and younger generation’s mentality as they grew up, boomers got everything handed to them as long as they worked for it, even if they worked a shitty job, they could get decent sized house, car, a devoted wife and children, these things were almost guaranteed if you “worked” for it, hard work was positive reinforcement for them, imagine us working low income job and guaranteed getting all those things listed rather than barely surviving , we would be the same as them spouting all these hard work nonsense, why?? because it would pay off eventually. these old fucks need to realise the time have changed and everything is different
