Why are my mood swings day to day so crazy

Yesterday I went to bed thinking of suicide then I woke up feeling semi alright this isn't normal. I wish I would just have a normal baseline

this was hitting me hard when its night / getting late
so i had to quit sugar

Depression always attacks me at night when I am alone no distractions lying in my bed the worst thoughts invade my heart mind and soul
