Surgery is a meme for most people anyway some are unfixable

they cant understand anything else than where to get alcohol from thats why they imagine surgery is some fucking brutal suicide

they havent thought about it enough and like everything else (even like not normies do this just with other subjects they DNR) they go with the general consensus
and many also dont even understand the halo effect like at all

nigga who cares what normies think

Even if nomies understand 'pretty priveledge' many of them still do NOT understand HOW much looks matter for everything. Not just dating, but also how you are treated in general, how seriously people take you, job opportunities, people looking the other way when you do something. PSL2 robs a bank: "Death penalty!!!!". PSL7 robs a bank: "He's just misunderstood and was coerced into it!"

Or in my case, I got septorhinoplasty for my alar sidewall concavity 3 months ago and I got a hair system because I'm Norwood5 (even meds + transplant can't salvage it) 1 month ago, and 'suddenly' I got more girls making out with me at festivals/raves than before, and even my own parents treated me better. And I'm STILL considering getting jaw/chin fillers for now (surgery in 2028) and dropping down to 12% bf

Because they don’t see it as something necessary and all surgeries come with risk.

It’s only socially acceptable if it’s very understandable, like someone having orthodontic/jaw surgery.

Also effortless natural beauty is viewed as more valuable than someone who works hard to improve.

Tbh not all surgeries are created equally, some are obviously more dangerous than others.
Stuff like a septorhinoplasty or slight cosmetic tweaks are mostly risk-free, worst case scenario you don't look as good as you'd hoped but at least still an improvement (like in my case, I got nose surgery to address asymmetry but it still looks a bit 'meh' but I'm fine with that but I'll still likely get revision next year). I'll probably get a very mild genioplasty, but you'll never see me get canthoplasty, limb lengtening surgery or anything too crazy like that because if it goes wrong you'll become an uncanny sub3 easily.
