Loans can be useful tools, but not if you use them to finance something like nights out or buying new clothes. If you live in a country like US where unis are expensive, and you get in to a good school, loan can be a good tool to finance your studies. You'll be able to pay them back in a few years anyway. Also another good use could be buying an apartment first for yourself, because they're pretty steady investments. Apartment prices only tend to rise, and you don't have to pay rent. Once you have paid for your own apartment, might as well get more loan to buy more apartments and get tenants who will pretty much pay those loans for you.

I never understood why people constantly buy new expensive graphics cards. I have NVIDIA GTX 750 TI, and still runs the modern games like rdr2, so why buy another card?
I saved enough to get a sexy rtx 3080 so why not
