why are normies so unconvinced by "face>height"

I was like this. I think it's a defense mechanism of the mind to not see the details of the face and start to see these facial differences between people.

although they still unconsciously notice and on some level judge people according to these differences.

Because most normies aren't that capable of telling what makes a face objectively attractive. Often times they can't even agree on which faces are attractive to begin with
