Why are old movies so much more entertaining

Movies and tv shows these days are so boring I find myself on my phone most of the movie/episide

Meanwhile old movies they just have that thing to them that you are so invested in that movie

Like I watched total recall yesterday 1990 and I picked up my phone like 3 times only

I’m watching stranger things season 5 part 2 and it’s so fucking boring
