Why are orthodontists so opposed to treating deep bite?

I went to a 3rd orthodontist to get prescribed braces for deep bite, and he said my deep bite isnt problem and unless its causing serious health problems he wouldnt treat it. This is the third orthodontist in a row to claim that my deep bite shouldnt be removed.
