I notice that the gym demography varies quite predictably by the time
I’m in a very student-heavy city and I’ve noticed that if I work out really late its almost completely populated by brown international student guys. Also generally less fit people, maybe because they’re embarrassed/less confident in the gym and want to go when its quieter

In the mornings you get a lot of your typical gym girls as well as some people who work out before work
Usually the most hardcore guys go in the afternoon thats when I see the athletes
And 5-7ish is when you get the rush of older wagies coming in

It is definitely crazy how much more respect you get when you gain that physical presence

I only had a growth spurt at like 17-19 from about 5’10” to 6’3”, and went from like an 18” to about 23” bidelt from gymcelling and my late puberty kicking in

I’m not actually that strong (a friend of mine looks way smaller at similar leanness but benches like 20kg more than me jfl) but I look very big and have naturally great delt genetics to the point that people I know are stronger than me just assume I’m way stronger than them I feel like a fraud
