Yea ik, whenever I asked smn about autism it was always that 1 default reply, "a lot of autists achieve full proper speech, social confidence, form meaningful relationships, and integrate socially." It took a while before I realized it's js a default AI response. I've never really seen an autistic person who disguises as NT well, or an autistic person who can give speeches without making them awkward.

All the stories of "autistic kids who turn out to be brilliant" are js about them getting shoved into rooms and lockers before growing up to be 180 IQ scientists. none of them ever grew up to be politicians or TV show hosts. truth is, autistic people can never rly be "normal" like the others or make our behaviors like theirs, we will always stand out.
