Why are people from urban areas more attractive than rural folks?

Excluding fashion, grooming, demeanor... they still are better-looking and taller. Even when accounting for population differences.

Rural people seem to be more dimorphic though.

More social media and less touching grass in urban populations, so appearance is valued more.

In rural areas, you have a village and community, so your options are limited. Yes, men will be more dimorphic because they have to work much harder and are likely not limited to eating grain sludge.
