Why are people here so good looking and goonable

When i logged onto the site the first time i was expecting to see horrendous trolls but instead i got blessed with the faces of normies from the 50th-80th percentile. How does this work was it always like this

Lots of people on here have struggled with insecurity their entire life (including myself) which has pushed them to work hard and put themselves in a good position to look better. It’s rare someone who’s really extremely ugly will come on here and be confident enough to post themselves.

Tbh I 'technically' would consider myself to be like that, but more in the 'safe/soft sub5' (main failos are 27% bodyfat, recessed chin and baldness; and I guess being 5'11 is a 'mild failo') category than a 'repulsive sub5'; so you are still 'decent enough to look at but just no real sexual intruige'.

Of course, a forum/ topics like this attracts egocentric, vulnerable "narcissists" and neurobiologically impacted people (with their numbers massively rising, especially since the pandemic); it has never really been solely an incel forum.

From my observation, already somewhat good-looking men arguably care even more about further improving their appearance, even after reaching a certain threshold.
Back in the day, again at least from my personal observation, the notion was that even average, neurotypical guys could get and keep a reasonably decent woman.
Nowadays, the community's viewpoints are less nuanced, less diverse, and more extreme, and yes, I also believe they partly shape their own environment through a self-fulfilling prophecy (long-term).

It also got slightly worse when it went mainstream in 2023, particularly over the last two years.

5’11 really isn’t that short brother so don’t stress too much on that. The recessed look could definitely be highly affected by the face you are 27% body fat so I’d recommend getting lean before anything else because that’s the biggest game changer in looks. For the baldness issues can be fixed with medications if you go and talk to a doctor who can give you some recommendations. I personally take nutrafol to prevent balding in my future and have noticed improvements to my hair thickness and rate of growth. I believe in you man it sounds like you could really benefit solely off of losing weight in a controlled manner.

That was an enlightening perspective. I can’t really talk much about back in the day because i was a kid back then.
What i do notice about this forum nowadays is how many people tend to complain about how the old community was much better.

I do want to experience how the old community exchanged information and ideas, such as their opinions on society, facial aesthetics etc. because i feel that the old version of the forum had, as you said, more diverse perspectives rather than the present users; most of whom are just a collective hive mind regurgitating the exact same things over and over.

You seem to dislike the present community and prefer the old one? Which of the two communities do u prefer?

Yeah I'm currently wearing a hair system until I can get a transplant eventually. So far the hair system has been working alright-ish (I can show you a comparison in DMs if you want). My main bone-structure failo right now is my 6mm recessed chin. I'm already Norwood4-5 I think (I'll got to a dermatologist in a bit).
My main halo is that I have positive canthal tilt around 3-4degrees and expressive eyes.
