Why are people saying it’s impossible to surgically shorten the philtrum. When a Lefort 1 impaction with lip lift has been shown to do this exactly.

Maybe I’m just coping because my philtrum definitely needs to be shortened, but this example attached reduced the philtrum size by 5mm, which is a huge improvement. And the lip size did not get to comcial size.

It’s a massive improvement so why do people say philtrum size cannot be reduced
