why are people so annoying

I was on a walk maybe 2 weeks ago and a massive group of people were shouting.
I try to walk past silently but one of them notices and starts acting very angry so I threw a moldy muffin that was at the bottom at my bag at him.
I ran like I usually do but he was fast and caught up and said he’d batter me and he punched me so I threw my egg McMuffin I was eating at him and ran.

people are so annoying and I need to avoid big groups more
