Europe has a better baseline lifestyle, while the US has a far higher ceiling as to the lifestyle you can live. All in all, it's only worthwhile to live in the US if you are ambitious and seek to accumulate a lot of wealth and status. If you just want to live a normal carefree life, Europe is better.
