As someone who does psychadelics and isnt some hippie tard, it mostly has to do with their brains to begin with. You see what you subconciously want to see when you take them. Normies see sunshine and lollipops and have a religious experience. depressed ppl see horrfying imagery and feel "doom".
If you are level headed you see the experience for what it is, your brain tripping out and producing weird effects.

Indeed, gore videos changed me, honestly you made me thinf about this, i remember how my personality and emotions mostly changed after 16, and that was around the time i discovered gore videos too. Somehow those vids made me more numb and lifeless. Wish i never found out about that. Ignorance is everything

I agree with you to a certain extent. However, I feel that if everyone was able to use psychedelics properly, we could overcome a lot of our own solipsism and live lives of purity and altruism. However, this would be very difficult to achieve and we probably deserve to just get wiped out. I do feel that psychedelics hold a lot of potential to propel our species in the right direction tho.
