Looking at research gate I can find PLENTY of studies about incels including incels.is, looksmax and lookism

Other then the fact that the information is conveniently given by the "Owner", why do they get so deep into it?

I remember posting larp pedophilia attempt threads in incels.is a few years ago and every single time I would get someone giving me "tips" in Chat or PMs (usually Graycels) and later the thread would be deleted without a warning or ban. (probably archived for evidence)

Those are actual feds getting paid to do a sting operation on some back then underaged larping teenager who they probably think is a male in his 20s or 30s, I wonder how much damage I caused by wasting their time, probably a few hours worth of paid salary, but I guess its tax money so who cares?

I didn't realize so many articles/studies exist. Obviously every such article and study is heavily flawed because it is impossible to get reliable data.

The people that graduate from colleges with useless majors like Equity Studies, and Women's studies need to do something, and there are only so many Human Resources jobs. So they conduct studies and publish them in crap sociology journals that exist only to advance a Marxist narrative and show muh Patriarcy muh White racism.

Their eventual goal is to get political appointments.

Lots of popular and trendy subjects in the media right now can get plenty of funding from universities, a lot of this research is however pretty dubious and of low quality, usually done by ethnics - I strongly suspect it's just a scheme for them to squeeze some money in the name of "research".
Here in Romania for example, corruption is rampart and universities too are a place where useless "research" is done on all sorts of stupid things, it's just a way for the people in charge to line their pockets.

Part of the reason the left/academics take interest in incels is because incels fill the gap that Christian radicals use to serve. It used to be that there were preachers who wanted to take away women's rights and force more traditional social norms on America and these people were excellent villians for feminists to use. These preachers haven't really existed for like 20 years now. Incels are the next best villian, a group of angry powerless men who supposedly hate women and want to take their rights away yet have little ability to present our opinions in the mainstream.
