Why are Scandinavian/Nordic niggas obsessed with Mexican food?

Why did this part of American culture bleed over to Northern Europe? The whole “tex-mex” “taco Tuesday” shit comes from burger land.

Are Scandinavian niggas tired of eating mashed potatoes, lingonberry jam, and reindeer meatballs? Of all exotic cuisines though, why did Mexican have the most appeal there?

I don’t think so. The only Nordic countries with bad food are Finland (love their salmon soup though ) and Iceland (might be the country with the worst food on the planet but they have great hot dogs )
