Why are short women more common than short men

I see sub 5’2 women all the time but rarely sub 5’7 men

Is it cause short men just LDAR at home while short women are confident and well liked so they’re outside more?

If you go into inner-city & poorer neighborhoods there are places where average height for men is 5'6. it's truly a location/class relative thing.

Only partially. Testosterone contributes to height levels, but not to the same way other hormones do.
