Good for bulldozing opposing players and defending the ball carrier. Football possessions last 10-30 seconds, so cardio isn't that important

In basketball, you need to be slim and athletic since agility and endurance are more important than strength and explosiveness

Yeah, the traditional qb doesn’t do anything athletic. That’s why they can play into their 40s. Running backs, receivers, corners, linebackers, and safetys unsurprisingly have the best physiques
