Why are some banned accounts on Incels.is stripped of their usernames and given a generic banned username with numbers?

I was looking at some ban appeals and saw some users I didn’t recognize and tried to, but their usernames were taken away and substituted with a generic “BannedUser689197” or something.

Why is that? Just because they’re banned they have their name taken away? It’s like their souls are being sucked into a vortex somewhere. I wonder what lies beyond.

Probably to protect their identity, if they ascended they probably don't want other people to google their name and find it on an incel forum.
