Why are some people in the 5 range but get so much respect

like my sister for example, not even a 6 but gets goddess treatment or a guy from my class never disrespected even though hes 5ish and is only 5ft6, people think highly of them etc. Or another girl from my class who's popular who people love more than hey love themselves.
