Why are some people interested in celebrities

I do not think about supposed celebrities or any person in general, I'm never a fan of anyone even if I like to consume his/her content idc about the actual person.

I can't stand people who want to know everything about somebody else life like dedicate some time for yourself nigga. Enjoy the moment with people and don't start thinking about people later.

The same principle goes for people who watch fiction, I understand you want that life but atleast try to make it real and stop reading literature or watching movies.

Honestly interest in celebrities should cater more towards trying to learn from them and have them as your inspos instead of "muh this guy dumped x singer for this actor!!1!"
