Why are there so many Kingdom Hearts games?

I heard good things about it and it looked fun so I bought all the games out of impulse. I boot it up and there's freaking 7 games. Not including the other 2 games it comes with. And why is KH 2 like the 5th game in the series? I'm already confused enough by the lore.

Yeah, it's all over the place lol. I played FF 7 for like half an hour and never again. I have no patience for JRPG shit. I loved Chrono Trigger, still will never play it again

Yeah, it's supposed to be one of the best games of all time. Akira Toriyama helped make it

i actually love jrpg then in that case because i played silent hill ones, looooved the vibes man, i felt so sucked into that world, played it on my psp like all the way back in 2009 or 2010

Only other turn based rpg games I've played were gachas. I have primal high T urge to smash controller and press buttons at all times

It's on the Switch, they have a few n64 games on it now, Majora's mask too
