It is completely wrong. Women dont need forward growth to be considered attractive. While stacies usually indeed have good forward growth, women can be VERY attractive with barely any forward growth. Many asian women, esp. chinese are very attractive, despite bad forward growth.

One example from the top of my head would be prime Britney Spears. She barely has forward growth but in her prime she was attractive, easily above HTN. Shey mightve not been full blown Stacy, but easily stacylite.

Women only need a narrow nose, thick lips (not too short mouth) and small + narrow (basically compact in both dimensions) skull from the front and they basically cant lose. Even NCT works for them in many cases to consider them still attractive or very exposed UEE.

Men on the other hand need forward growth most.

Also you confuse forward growth with maxilla projection. It is possible to have good forward growth but still recessed maxilla, just like Robert Pattinson that youve mentioned.

Forward growth is defined by more factors than JUST the maxilla projection. Mandible and Forehead projection is part of the forward growth. And Pattinson easily forward growth mogs the average guy into another dimension and back. His mandible and forehead are PERFECTLY forward grown, just the maxilla is recessed.

Its exactly the opposite, as a man, you cant be attractive if you have bad forward growth.

There are 2 scenarions with bad forward growth:

1. - the face is just horizontally very short without downwards recession, then a person's face looks underdeveloped.

2. the face is downwards grown (hence not forward grown), like this guy

Then you also can be considered attractive looking, even though his manible length is great.

The reason why forward growth is important is MAINLY to AVOID downard growth, which automatically follows if a person has bad body posture and bad tongue support under the maxilla. Downward growth can not be attractive, it is the subhuman train #1 and usually is the reason for recessed mandible, recessed forehead, Wimp Skull and many many other negative things like breathing issues, sleep apnea etc.

Meanwhile with forward growth come tons of positive side effects, like wider palate most of the time, properly developed maxilla, enough space for all teeth etc.

Out of all ppl, picking Dr. Mew to bad mouth on is just a proof of very low IQ and little understanding of the importance of forward growth. Its not just for aestheticals but many other health related aspects as well.

Just from looking at these 2 pictures, one has downward growth face, one has forward grown face, with all the changes the he wouldnt have if he was forward grown instead of downard grown, like the weard wimp-like rounded/protruding skull on the back of his head, wimp like lifted skull on the back of his head (the frontal part of the scalp is supposed to be higher than the back side of the scalp) and all other bullshit. The list of things that get messed up due to downward growth is endless. And again, without proper body posture and tongue posture, faces will recess even on adults, not just during growth phase. So that is why it is so important to maintain correct body posture and tongue posture for basically ever.

Bad forward growth during development usually ends up in forehead + mandible being recessed, because if the maxilla is not properly forward grown and is not in the correct position (f. e. maxilla is downward grown), it will block the mandible from growing forward or will result in downwards growth, which is a subhuman trait.

Also the reason why forward growth is important is because you can take like 99% of people, even models, and if you increase their forward growth, they end up looking BETTER, not worse. So why would average looking people not aim for more forward growth, when it can only result in better looks, if its done properly?

Honestly that post above was completely nonsensical. It is pointless to downplay the importance of forward growth.

Even most MM look better in morphs that give them more forward growth. That alone shows the importance of aiming to achieve ideal forward growth, esp. for average looking ppl.
