Is it just a brainwashed propaganda bs? Like how cutting your hair super short is popularized?

Ideally you want a really big jaw and maxilla which would cause tooth gaps, shouldn't that make tooth gaps the ideal?

Like objectively speaking what could be the biological reason to find them unattractive

Cuz you look like SpongeBob with them

unaesthetic
For what reason, aesthetics are linked to health, it's not unhealthy to have a gap and might mean the opposite if you have the bone structure

So what caused them to be considered that

My guess is that tooth gaps in media are typically associated with those that are either children, childish, or just straight up low IQ

And so when the average person sees someone with a tooth gap, they may assume that person to be a dunce

Could be, but wouldn't that just be considered youthful? Like freckles and blond hair

I've had this topic of discussion with other people cause I did used to have a gap, and people always bring up spongebob, like this is legit the only reason people dislike it, I've never heard any other argument than "you'd look like SpongeBob"

Possibly, although freckles typically indicate bad health rather than youthfulness.

This is because of sun sensitivity and gut health. Whatever you consume is reflected within your looks, if you have what looks to be fly shit speckled all over your face, it can resemble that of acne.

Plus freckles are generally considered to be an obstruction of facial harmony, the only way you can pull them off is by having an ethereal face to be honest. Same with most failos

how is this an argument? if you see someone with a tooth gap do you not immediately see it as unappealing?

Not really, can't really give an opinion on men but I've never been turned off by a woman for having it

It’s out of place just doesn’t look right if there’s a row of teeth and a gap in between
