If human beings have supposedly been around for a million years or whatever then why are we so ill-equipped? Almost everything needs to be trained into us through direct experience it seems when it should be automatic.

Why are you pedestalizing a million years? Such number is minuscular to the age of the universe. Give it a billion years or two at least, im sure we’ll be close by that time

Doesn't matter, it's still an outrageously long amount of time

Because your human life is much smaller than that? and you feel like somehow thats a universal variable to measure evolution

You dont have an argument at all. You are literally assigning random values for no reason at all. Evolution is a miracle, how much more do you want fromit

An argument? This is a discussion and you're trying to win. What is the point of evolution? Adapting, surviving, so why after so much time are we ill-equipped at dealing with the issues our ancestors had to struggle with? Why is it not as seamless is breathing or walking at this point?
