can't you only do that if your workplace is understaffed? bc i can't work overtime at mine even if i tried. i might just get a second job

no for me I am in manufacturing so we always have overtime

we have countless orders. u finish todays orders then u do next days orders etc

we are a week ahead so far. there are some guys there who make 100k+ who do 16 hours a day on friday and the manager lets them. more production more money. also saturday is entire day overtime pay and ur allowed to work. only day ur not allowed to work is sunday

how do u get into that? i'm currently taking a gap year so i have no post secondary education but i'd like to find a job that pays at least a bit higher than minimum wage

my family members are in it so they hired me. but just apply to manufacturing plants

they will probably hire you (guarantee tbh) as either a assembler (dont do it, pays less) or as a cleaner which is the guy who cleans parts. u make 17 dollars an hour doing that shit. very easy but boring and u always need guys like that. after a while u will start working on machines that clean 500+ pcs of pipes and u can move on up and maybe get promoted to machine operator

for me i make 22 dollars an hour because i am machine operator. which i dont like because i am on a diet and ur lifting heavy shit the entire day sometimes. i feel like i am going to pass out a lot of the time due to burning so many damn calories but it is what it is
