Why are weird, obscure videos considered the scariest shit ever

Clip collections that abandon narrative aren't really scary imo. You can't have real fear without empathy and you can't build empathy without character, which requires narrative. Clips of human meat being chopped up or puke being eaten or real murders, rapes, people getting tossed into a boiling pot , skinned alive etc isn't scary to me it's just gross and meh. It's no different than gore to me. Why tf would I be scared if some jungle nigger chainsaws his entire family and himself.

Seen them (hypothetically for feds) also there's livestreams on the dark web that show these kind of vids you mentioned. I know one recently where a guy records himself breaking into houses full of families just to record them up close. First he advertises it on dark web forums with clips then people record his livestreams and send it in telegrams till they're filtered to normal gore sites. (All hypothetical in fiction)

violence isn't and shouldn't be scary, it should be a way of life. the people directing those gore movies are sheltered liberals who faint at the sight of a papercut. they think they're making something extreme edgy when every teenager has seen the real version of it on thenyc, ogrish, liveleak, twitter, etc. this is why wars are crucial, and conscriptions should be a thing, in fact the most liberal members of society should be forced into the frontlines. this is to make sure that if they survive, their output on society is not a bunch of bluepill slop.

imo it is also kinda cringe to consider videos like "i feel fantastic" scary like the older weird videos

i mean sure they are somewhat mysterious but definitely not scary
