But it's worth remembering the US was originally founded as an Anglo Saxon ethno state. The men who founded the US and fought the British Empire were Englishmen who wanted to escape the monarchy that is French/Norman.

Look up the 'Norman Yoke'

The continental Army that fought in the Revolutionary War was 90% English colonists. The British Army they fought against was only 30% Englishmen - the other 70% were Welsh, Scotsmen, Irish and mercenaries from Germany.

There is no discernible difference between the CEU and Germans and similar FST values across the board.

There is practically no difference between the CEU and GBR in terms of admixture either.
