Why are women attracted to pretty boys?

And I'm looking for a scientific explanation. In other mammals, such as lions and walruses, the biggest, strongest and most aggressive male gets the females. But you typically will see young, attractive women being attracted to a pretty boy twink rather than some hulking powerlifter or strongman. Why is it different in humans?

Humans are endurance species. Prehistoric humans would chase their prey for miles, something similar to wolves, and not like cats for example who ambush their prey and have more sprinter build for short term strength.
Men had to be endurable, like soccer players for example, that was genetic marker of fitness, and not strength for itself.
Just lol @ mentioning fat powerlifters, these guys would burn out quickly in a fight, let alone in prehistoric enviroment where they probably wouldn't survive.
Fat powerlifters would be useless in modern army, they probably wouldn't pass ACFT military fitness test, let alone participate in army.

The problem is that this doesn’t work in the real world anymore. You’re in the city talking to other men who are constantly sizing you up. Not in some Savannah chasing squirrels. So if you’re a little endurance twink that can get thrown around. Nobody is going to take you seriously. Short term explosive strength actually matters a lot now. You will get put to sleep quick by the high quick twitch muscle fiber having football player. And this is why talking about some super fat powerlifter is not it. You can be strong and athletic and big at the same time. Sure you’re not running marathons but you’re fast and you have enough endurance to put in damage

Didn’t understand my point. And culture matters a lot. I lived in a rough area for some time of my life in America and trust me nobody there is going for pretty boys. They going for the masculine ripped dudes who can fight and make money
