Ahteism is hard for me to believe in, because everyone ends up equal wether they are rapist,pedophiles,priest due to the neutrality this univers has.
Everbody would be having the same fate, so how do you live with it that mass rapist end up having the same fate as someone whos spent their whole life helping others

It is definitely better than believing in an entity who rules over everyone and lets evil doers do their evil deeds. Also, if you really think about it, there is really no meaning behind anything. If someone messes with my family, I will probably go and fuck them up. But, the concepts of family, religion, and other things are social constructs. Every one does what they want in this chaos. After all, morality and conscience were too created by men.

People from thousands of years ago had to come up with some kind of explanation for trivial things like "why is it raining?" or "why did someone got sick and died".
And people from around the world have interpreted it differently, that's why Europeans believe in Christianity, middle eastern in Islam, South Asians in Buddhism etc. Everyone has come up with their higher being and their explanation of how world works. Christianity is the biggest religion right now simply because of colonization, where Europeans forced rest of the world to believe in their idea.
Today we have a logical explanation for things people in the past haven't had answers to, that's why more and more people stop being religious.

Yeah you are definetly right that people abused religion for power and wealth, but you can believe in a god without believing in a religion

It comes down to how you see life. You seem to focus on the final goal, what you achieve in the end, but I think it’s more about how you actually live it.
For me, I think our very existence as a miracle. The universe has been around for billions of years. Out of all that vast, dark space, there’s this one planet that somehow developed life. And not only that, but on this planet, which is over 500 million years old, I happen to be alive right now, at a time when I don’t have to hunt for food or fight, and get to live as apex predator in first world country.
My perspective is that I just want to let as many people experience this as I can, that's why I want to have dozen of kids.

I get it that there are bad people that you want to get punished, but there's no way to 'punish' everyone. You can't control everyone. When random dude in Afghanistan beats his wife to death, yes it's sad that something like this still exists in modern day and yes you'll feel rage, but you cant do much about it. If you want to make world a better place, be more kind, donate money to charities. Just do some sweet shit, like, go make a compliment so someone. If you choose to believe in religion just because you want to believe in idea that all bad people will get punished, it's literally coping.

Like I said, its all about your perspective of life. It shaped while you live, I'm just sharing mine.
