Whereas old users I have noticed people who joined in 2020, 21,22 or even before tend to be decent sentient humans.

It’s like 2023 users are less toxic compared 2024 and 2025 users

I'm new and I've noticed a lot of older people treating me badly because of it, but most of the people who have been here for several years are pretty nice, I suppose the people who tell you to kill yourself won't stay here for long, so they'll leave, and the calmer ones will stay

Most of the loud energy is just first-cycle forum behaviour. When you’ve been here long enough, you stop needing to bark to feel real. New users think every take is a battlefield and they have to die on every hill. After a few years you’ve seen every archetype, every debate, every "new revelation” recycled for the hundredth time.
