Why aren't Bollywood movies more popular?

They are huge in India and nearby countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, etc. and also quite popular in the Arab world and even in Eastern Europe, especially with the gypsy minority. However, they aren't really popular in the western world, in US or western Europe, how do you explain this, since Indian movies have actually evolved a lot in the past few years and have become more sophisticated and they have bigger and bigger budgets.

There are plenty of action, adventure, sci-fi, horror and other commercial genre movies, some of them have amazing special effects and action, that isn't seen even in Hollywood productions.

Hmmm...you know, most Bollywood stars are actually pretty light-skinned and have Caucasian features, they don't look like the typical Indian, also Bollywood has tried for decades to get some Hollywood actors in their movies, but they couldn't persuade them, because the pay is less, and they will have to sing and dance, and they are afraid this could make them look ridiculous and ruin their Hollywood careers.

Don't think any bollywood director has ever bothered casting a hollywood guy as main actor. Why would they - the movie would flop big time. There have been a few cameos by Will Smith and some others here and there.

Simple I live in the USA, Indian men are viewed as inferior , not lusted after by most women because of stereotypes. Smelly small dicks shorter in height on average , most have no muscle mass to speak of etc. In the USA it's all about BBC even if the guy doesn't have one women will still think he does because of steroetypes.
