Few weeks in, I can already see massive improvements in my skin. Regardless if you have clear skin or not, it will massively aid you in the long run. Less harsh than Tretinoin, works faster, works better, basically just an upgraded version of Tretinoin. Started off at the strongest strength (0.1%). Had minimal basically zero side effects. Maybe little bit more pimples during the first 2 weeks. For right now my skin is the clearest and best it’s been in years. :feelsyay:

do you use gel form?
I use cream form. I have heard the gel version is superior though. Both should work fine, honestly up to your preference.

Sunscreen with any retinoid is a must. Your skin will be really sensitive especially for the first couple of weeks. Either way you should always be using sunscreen regardless, sun is a major looksmin to your skin. Use a SPF 50+

Why not just also use a cleanser? generally it’s recommended. Also for retinoids do the sandwhich method. Lightly Moisturize, apply Tazarotene, Lightly Moisturize again. Always use sunscreen on tazarotene, one of the biggest lookmaxxes you can do in the long run anyways.

Almost everyone who has tried both reports Taz being severely less damaging to their skin. I’m on 0.1% Taz and I still haven’t seen haven’t had any skin issues.
