Why autism seems to correlate with recession?

I have seen many autistic kids during my life, and one thing I have noticed is that not a single one of them has been goodlooking. Almost always they have weird bone structures or underdeveloped, childish faces with zero dimorphism and recessed jaws.

Is it simply that goodlooking autists whose faces grew correctly "get away" with their autism more often and manage to develop normal social skills and behaviour due to positive validation despite their differently wired brain? While ugly or average looking aspies will almost 100% of the times end up being those creepy and weird stereotypical autists.

Or a little bit wilder theory: could it be that autism is actually caused by facial recession that may change the shape of the entire skull and compress the brain???

Yes, the ugly ones are avoided by others since childhood; even if they aren't really autists, they stay isolated, don't develop properly their social skills, cope with video games, books, movies, weird hobbies, etc., so by the time they grow up they aren't different than the real autists...

Because their mothers were subhuman and nutritionally deficient leading to a smaller bone density for a start. Next factor in allergies and mouth breathing and this creates an ugly, long, narrow face.

That's basically me. I'm not an autist, but diagnosed with personality disorder.

Real autism is very rare, but now with society changing, technology become ubiquitous, kids becoming addicted to smartphone and tablets from a very early age, we see more and more these autist-like symptoms appearing everywhere. There are many kids now who don't have much socialization, their parents just give them a tablet or smartphone to keep them occupied and these kids act like real autists - I see them in public dragged by hand by their parents and they look like zombies, they have a blank stare on their face, bump into things and people, don't seem aware of what's happening around them, etc...

Yeah I sometimes wonder if nature wants to somehow "ensure" that autism genes don't pass to new generations by making autists also ugly and making them have wery low prenatal t for example. Or giving them a nasal allergy that makes them mouthbreathe and recess.

I had this but I’m stubborn, I have the nasal allergy but refused to mouthbreath thanks to this my looks remained good despite me being an aspie

I know autists who have lots of forward growth. I think the biggest thing to takeaway from autistic appearance is that they all look uncanny in some way, probably because nature wanted others to be able to tell that their autistic and shouldn’t be “bred” with (im only putting bred in quotes cuz it looks so fucking weird to say bred)
