Bodybuilder doesn't necessarily mean muscular, anyone who lifts weights to build muscle can call themselves a bodybuilder, even if they are just starting out. A beginner bodybuilder is still a bodybuilder. If you're a soccer player or you do mostly running though, then you're not a bodybuilder. If you do only the squat, bench press and deadlift and train for strength, then you're a powerlifter, even if you're a beginner.
