Why do orthodontists use screws in the palate for MSE in order to produce internal forces and expand it (bone) rather than applying it under the palate like your tongue when you mew?

Because bone only changes when INTERNAL pressure is applied not EXTERNAL. Do you really think you’re smarter than orthodontists regarding the maxillofacial aesthetics?

A common stupid excuse people make is the strong shin bones UFC fighters have. Which is stupid because of the following reasons.

1. Their bones strengthen but do not appear bigger due to increased DENSITY not MASS.

2. You can’t hit your face 200 times daily with the force MMA fighters hit 70KG bags.

Only way to see “results” (your bone being denser rather bigger) is that you build a machine which hits your bone with continuous set pressure in a specific timeframe for hours on end. But even then you will only have stronger bones.
