Why can I attract girls but not make friends

Like both of these are social things, I have a gf and generally can get a date easy enough with a girl when I’m single but it’s so hard for me to make and maintain friends to hang out with. I only have like one close friend and then just a few people who I see here and there but they have their own groups I’m not in
