why can lower iq not comprehend sarcasm or irony?

It‘s just a question that i‘m asking myself and I think I already know the answer but whyyyy can’t people with a lower iq (i’m not specifically speaking about Low iq) comprehend or gaze the idea of someone being ironic??? I’m in the position to speak about that because my Iq is above average (I don’t need to say the exact number) because that doesn’t help here. But i’m often confronted with people just not understanding me when i’m (for me) obviously being sarcastic. It just hurts me that I have to explain myself over and over again. I just have my way of saying things that make total sense in my own head but the people i’m around just don’t get it at all. And those things are just so banal. Plz answer, give reasons and tell me what to do about that.

It’s also bigger than that. I hate that almost no one understands any of my thoughts and their processes. How can it be that my brain is wired so differently that things that are making total sense to me (in any way, can be either socially or emotionally) but for others it’s just impossible to grasp. I’ve had the most issues with my family and classmates.

The problem is, the person i’m referring to right now is one of my best friends. I like him a lot but he’s just sooo focused on the wrong things. His whole life is about girls and when i’m trying to explain to him that I don’t care about girls and that him having a girlfriend just gets him into more problems. Like he really thinks that him getting girls and me NOT WANTING girls makes him a better person. That’s also what i’m talking about. He just can’t comprehend my thought processes of why I don’t want to waste my money on a girl when i’m just 18. I know I was talking about sarcasm but this is also a big issue. I also just had an argument with him about my way of talking to girls. He just cannot comprehend my words.
