It’s because they consider the noun incel to mean “a member of an online community of young men who consider themselves unable to attract women sexually, typically associated with views that are hostile toward women and men who are sexually active” and “a member of an online subculture of people who define themselves as unable to get a romantic or sexual partner despite desiring one” not the broader definition that’s simply “a person who is involuntarily celibate.” That’s why many normies think it’s possible to be a KHHV yet not be an incel.
