why can't i read anything that isn't a text or social media post

i literally feel fucking illiterate if i try to read a news article or a book. i am unable to actually read every sentence and end up getting stuck on lines or being unable to actually comprehend whats on the page. but i can read social media posts JUST FINE. why? am i doomed??
