Why can’t I understand how people feel whatsoever

i don’t mean to sound edgy but I don’t know how other people feel, I understand the emotions and what it does but I can’t put myself in another’s shoes and feel empathetic for them, I get a thrill out of getting people angry or anything alive hurt, I’m not a good person by any means but I revel in inflicting this onto other people
