Why can't people like some just to like it

I always see people saying they don't like music, this or that because it's no longer niche

Boyo if you liked a music or anything because its niche you never liked it you just like feeling niche

For example, my music taste whether its the most main stream thing in the world or the more niche thing it changes nothing I will still like it as I like how the song sounds, not the status niche or mainstream have
