Why can’t we change our avatars when banned?

When we are banned on .me or .co we are not able to change our avatars. Why?

I think we should be able to change it. It doesn’t cause any harm to the sites. So why is that feature disabled? We are still able to follow users and reply to PMs but we aren’t able to change our avatars. I wanted to change my avatar on .co but I am unable to.

@Sergeant can you make it so that banned users can change their avatars when banned? We get tired of looking at the same avatar every day and need a change every so often.

Yeah. That was a placeholder. Before being banned I did a poll for users to choose my avatar and I gave them 5 choices. Then I was banned for something which most users do on a daily basis. Now it’s stuck on that boring avatar.
