Capitalism is not just about money, and jobs, it's also very much linked to dating and sex, and for you incels that can make things even worse, let me explain.
1 - Dating feels like a market.
In Capitalism, everything's a competition, including sex and dating, you're constantly being judged, about how you look, how much money you make, your social status, etc, It's like literally Amazon, some people (the good quality products) get all the attention, while some people get dumped in the trash (the bad quality products), which makes Incels feel like they're on the bottom of this market, which crushes the self esteem absurdly.
2 - Being left behind.
- Capitalism gives 0 fucks about your mental health or why are you lonely, It breaks down entire communities, and keeps Incels isolated, and tells you to grind non stop 24/7, alot of men end up being stuck inside, online, with no real purpose in life.
3 - It's always YOUR FAULT, you are not WORKING HARD enough.
- Capitalist culture emphasizes self improvement, If you're not good looking, successful, rich or loved, it must be because you are lazy or you do not try hard enough to improve yourself, even when PEOPLE literally try their hardest, but no try harder, which is a fucking shitty mindset, for men, It turns into like a spiral or something? they try to fix themselves (i think we have all gone through the red pill phase), and when that doesn't work, they feel like TOTAL failures, the system says they are broken, but how about the system itself is BROKEN?
All of what i said, above, the points i talked about pretty much correlates very well, capitalism literally trains us to think in markets, we're taught everything is a damn market from childhood, not just in dating as well, we're told to compete in schools, in jobs, in life style, success being more valuable than others (money, status, looks), this mindset leaks into dating and sex, people start using terms like ''high value man'' and ''dating down'', neo liberal capitalism makes you blame yourself, it's always your fault is the same, as you are not trying hard enough, no bitches, you aren't trying hard enough, no money, try harder, etc.
Conclusion: At the end of the day, capitalism didn’t invent loneliness or rejection, but it supercharged them, It turned dating into a competition, connection into a product, and people into profiles. If you're not “winning” in love, the system tells you it’s your fault like you're just not grinding hard enough to be attractive, successful, or lovable.
