WHY CONFIDENCE DOES INDEED MATTER (not saying looks have no impact)

I go to a boarding school, and one thing I’ve really noticed is that confidence changes everything. The people who stand out the most, the ones everyone knows and talks about, are usually the ones who have no filter, speak their mind, and just don’t care what others think. Even the “ugly” guys who are loud, funny, or simply bold still manage to attract attention and get girls.

But does that mean looks don’t matter at all? Of course not. Physical appearance still plays a role, especially in first impressions. However, confidence can completely change how someone appears to others. When you carry yourself with self assurance, make people laugh, or simply act comfortable in your own skin, it makes you way more appealing.

At the end of the day, good looks might get someone’s attention for a moment, but confidence is what keeps it. You can be the best looking person in the room, but if you’re insecure or constantly worried about how you’re perceived, people will feel that. Confidence, on the other hand, gives off energy. It shows that you’re comfortable with who you are, and that’s something people are naturally drawn to.

You've said it very thorough and very well. I've been preaching this here for years.

It's not confidence itself though. Confidence is just a symptom of the way a person looks at the world. The way you look at people who don't like you and those who do. An equal indifference to praise and scorn as well as a touch of impudence will carry most men anywhere they want to go.
