Well I explain it concisely first TH1 immunity is far better then TH2 vaccine mediated immunity, as TH2 mediated immunity still makes you susceptible to other strains.
Indepth explanation.
TH1 immunity uses phagocytic activity by killer T cells which attack infected, or mutated cells. T cell activation is tightly controlled and generally controlled and generally requires a very strong antigen signal, almost exclusively to an acute infection. An acute viral infection is characterized by sudden or rapid onset of disease, which can be resolved quickly by robust innate immune responses exerted by the host or, instead, may kill the host. TH1 immunity is generally known as cell mediated immunity, and through its activation provides a simultaneous humoral response through helper T cells (th2 immunity). This process is both nonspecific that it neutralizes any foreign antigens and specific that it will encourage the humoral systems to mount a large-scale precision response. This creates an exponentially growing positive feed back loop that can create a massive immune response and boost T cell and memory b cell production.
TH2 immunity primarily involves Humoral immunity and is the standard response to mild antigen activation signals. This is regulated by helper T cells (CD4) and B cells (antibody generators) outside of the presence of an antigen that the B cell has been taught to make antibodies for by the T cells, new memory B cells will not be created and during the TH2 response and during a TH2 response ONLY memory B cells will be created. Eventually, these cell lines will be reprogrammed or die off.

From the abstract lined above,”Th1 cells also stimulate moderate levels of antibody production, whereas TH2 cells actively suppress phagocytosis. For most infections, save those caused by large prokaryotic pathogens , type 1 immunity is protective, whereas type 2 response assists with cell mediated inflammation.” In otherwards, primary TH2 responses, TH1 pathway is supressed.
