Why did I randomly get socially inhibited?

I’ve always been nd but great at masking it
So why did I become so high inhib super fucking random.

When I think back to 6th grade I was super social I was popular everyone knew me and I was even interesting and had girls

From seventh to ninth grade I just forgot how to socialize and became quieter, depressed and not so much interesting anymore and just alone. Tf happend
